  • OPM Seeks to Curb Use of 'Often' Abused Paid Administrative Leave

    Office of Personnel Management Director Katherine Archuleta recently issued a memorandum to agencies, requiring them to collect information from payroll providers, as part of an effort to make changes to the use of paid administrative leave. This action follows a recommendation by the Government Accountability Office, which found that the federal government spent more than $3 billion between fiscal years 2011-2013 on administrative leave, despite a lack of uniform standards.
