  • Senior Execs to Begin Obama's Rotation Program This Year

    Pursuant to President Obama's Executive Order on on the Senior Executive Service (SES) rotational program, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) recently released guidance addressing senior execs rotating to other functions, components and agencies beginning in October. Federal agencies with more than 20 SES employees will move no less than 15 percent of their top managers to jobs outside their normal duties for at least 120 consecutive days.According to OPM, the goal of these rotations is to broaden "the executive’s knowledge, skill and experience in order to improve talent development, mission delivery and collaboration."
