  • Obama Will Propose 1.6 Percent Pay Raise for Feds and Troops In 2017 Budget

    President Barack Obama will include a 1.6 percent pay raise for federal employees in his Fiscal Year 2017 budget request, which will formally be released on Tuesday, February 9. This is equal to the proposed raise the president will include for military personnel. Feds received a 1.3% pay raise in the FY 2016 omnibus appropriations bill adopted in December 2015.
