  • What feds should know about the 114th Congress

    The 114th Congress began on January 6, however, Members of Congress have already commented on how the federal workforce should be managed. Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), newly appointed Chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, commented on the need to better address poor performers. Additionally, Congress will need to quickly address funding of the Department of Homeland Security, the budget of which was not included in the cromnibus budget deal in December, and funding will run out at the end of February.
