  • Obama administration looks to 'lock in progress' on management goals

    In order to improve upon a wide array of goals throughout federal agencies and departments, Office of Management and Budget Director Shaun Donovan sent a memo out to executive leadership, calling upon career executives, managers, and labor to work together to identify opportunities to better serve the American public. Donovan asked agency heads to: identify goals and action plans; decide upon leaders within agencies to carry out these plans; conduct data supported reviews; and, proved quarterly reviews. Additionally, federal agencies will work with legislative affairs offices and Congress in order to advance performance.
