  • FMA CONTINUES EFFORTS TO REPEAL DOD CUTS - November 4, 2016
  • FMA continues its work to repeal the significant Department of Defense  cuts to long term TDY per diems. FMA supports the full repeal language included in the House-passed version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). House and Senate conferees are working to iron out differences between their respective chambers, and Congress is expected to vote on the conference report in the lame duck session in November or December, 2016.

Most recently, FMA sent a thank you letter to Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) for her work to repeal the cuts. To read a copy of this letter, please click here. FMA staff also spoke recently with Federal News Radio host Mike Causey to keep attention on the issue. To read Causey’s take on the NDAA, please click here.
