FMA Winter Recruitment Campaign

The Basics

FMA is holding a Winter Recruitment Campaign! This campaign will run from December 1, 2021, to February 28, 2022. This is a chapter-level campaign, and your FMA chapter can choose to opt-in to this campaign by emailing Adam at akay@fedmanagers.org for more information. Each new member who is recruited by a participating chapter during the FMA Winter Recruitment Campaign will receive $50 just for joining. The FMA member who recruited them will receive one entry into a prize drawing for each new member they recruit during this campaign. The Grand Prize for the drawing will be $500! Thank you for helping FMA grow!

The following chapters have opted-in to FMA's Winter Campaign!

3, 6, 14, 19, 21, 34, 90, 121, 125, 148, 170, 187, 252, 275, 396. If your chapter has not opted-in yet, don't worry - there's still time to join the campaign!

Why Recruitment Matters

The more members FMA has, the more our voice is heard on Capitol Hill. Senators and Representatives in states and districts with large, organized FMA chapters are far more receptive to FMA issues, because our issues are constituent issues for them.

FMA is the largest organization representing the interests of Federal Managers. Because of this, we have unique opportunities to sit on special advisory committees and speak directly to decision makers on your behalf. There is strength in numbers, and the larger we are, the greater our ability to secure wins for feds.

Recruitment Resources

FMA advocates for federal managers. This means we care about the same issues you do. Most feds who join FMA do so because they care about the issues we advocate for, from fair pay raises to preventing government shutdowns. To share FMA's successes and current priorities with potential new members, click here to download our Virtual Recruitment Kit. This document has information on our current Issue Briefs, FMA wins for feds, and other benefits of membership. We've found that approximately 80% of federal managers who learn what FMA does through these materials choose to join FMA!

Why Join FMA?

The Association’s considerable influence stems from a team approach to advocacy. When lawmakers or agency decision-makers consider proposals that could adversely affect the management of the federal workforce, they quickly realize that TEAM FMA stands together to protect the interests of all its members.
