FMA Action Letter April 2026

Overview of the Action Letter April Campaign

What Is Action Letter April? It’s FMA’s grassroots initiative to ask every FMA member to write each of our five action letters during the month of April! (And then asking them to invite their colleagues, family, and friends to do the same!)

Why Participate? Sending action letters to members of Congress is a powerful tool FMA members have as constituents to voice their concerns and influence policy decisions impacting federal managers. When large numbers of people speak out together, it demonstrates widespread public support and increases pressure on lawmakers to act.

Who is this for? All FMA members and their colleagues, family, and friends (over the age of 18) who support federal workers!

What are the dates? This campaign will run through April 30, 2026 (but we encourage FMA members to send action letters anytime they are inspired to let their elected leaders know about the issues that FMA cares about!)

How and where do we participate? Being mindful of the Hatch Act, all action letters should be sent from personal laptops, phones, and tablets and outside of a federal installation on FMA members’ own time.

Write Letters for Chance to Win $100!

Every FMA member who sends an action letter in April via the FMA action letter portal will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 gift card, compliments of FMA-PAC. A member can receive up to five entries in the raffle (one for each of the unique action letters currently available on FMA’s action letter portal).

(Note: while we enthusiastically encourage colleagues, family, and friends of FMA members to send a letter [or all seven!] in support of the federal worker community, those wonderful people are not eligible for the raffle.)
